Frequently Asked Questions
How big does my backing and batting need to be?
The backing and batting need to be at least 4” bigger than your quilt top on all four sides. For example, if your quilt top measures 68” x 80”, your backing and batting will need to be a minimum of 76” x 88”.
What do I need to do before I send my quilt?
Press the top & backing well.
If your border is pieced, sew a stitch an 1/8” around the quilt to help these little stitches stay in place.
Clip any loose threads.
Mark the top left of the quilt top and backing with either a safety pin or a piece of painter’s tape.

I still have more questions!
Call, text, or email me. I do have a full-time job besides my passion for quilting, but I would love to talk with you about your quilt.
